For this project, I created a full sound redesign for the sci-fi game Blacksmith, using the tools and sources provided by Full Sail. My goal was to craft an immersive, low-frequency ambient soundscape that conveys the dark, abandoned environment and the characters solitude. I redesigned sound effects, foley, and background atmospheres, handled basic implementation, and performed meticulous sound editing and mastering. I explored creative techniques such as blending layers, applying the air vintage filter, and using time compression and expansion to shape FX timing. The result is a tense, cinematic, and magical auditory experience, designed to evoke wonder, suspense, and dynamic spatial depth, enhancing the game’s narrative and atmosphere.
